I love chocolate and any chocolate treats that I can find. I knew I wanted to combine tow of my very favorite foods in the world, chocolate and avocado, and come up with something delicious! Truffles are these rich delicious morsels of treats that you can make using so many ingredients combined to give you the best flavors. So easy to make and with few ingredients you will be making these truffles literally everyday if possible!
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Dark Chocolate
1 Avocado mashed
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
METHOD
Melt the dark chocolate. Place chocolate in a heat proof
glass bowl over a pot of simmering water, don't let the bowl touch the water.
Stir until chocolate has melted and remove from the heat. Set aside and let the
dark chocolate melt slightly. I didn't have a glass bowl so I used a smaller
pan with handles that held it over the simmering water. Mix the melted chocolate, mashed avocado, salt and vanilla essence in a bowl until combined
Put the chocolate avocado mixture in the fridge for 1 hour until it firms up
Use a spoon or ice cream scoop to scoop up the mixture and form into round balls in the palm of your hands
Dip the chocolate truffle in cocoa powder and roll until well coated
Delicious healthy avocado chocolate truffles ready to be devoured!
